  • Initiated development of in-house Geoscience team:
    • Added James R. Spear as Vice President and Chief Geophysicist (SCS Corporation)
    • Charles H. Andrews joins the Hyperdynamics Board of Directors
  • Designed and developed 2008 Seismic Acquisition Program

2006
  • Entered into a direct Production Sharing Contract with the Republic of Guinea in September, making Hyperdynamics the largest acreage holder offshore Africa.
  • Engaged Global Santa Fe's Applied Drilling Technology unit to conduct a feasibility study for offshore drilling operations.

2005
  • Purchased HDY Resources to conduct domestic oil and gas production activities.
  • Listed Hyperdynamics on the American Stock Exchange under the symbol HDY.

2004
  • Conducted a geochemical drop core survey, performed a remote sensing satellite study for oil seeps and completed an independent integrated interpretation of our data for offshore Guinea.

2003
  • Acquired an additional 4,000 km of 2D seismic offshore Guinea.

2002
  • Earned a 50% interest in the 1995 Production Sharing Agreement by shooting 1,000 km of 2D regional seismic covering the Republic of Guinea offshore.
  • Obtained a 100% interest in a new Production Sharing Agreement for the offshore of the Republic of Guinea.

2001
  • Purchased SCS Corp. in May. Shifted company's focus to seismic data management.

1996-2000
  • Focused business on information and data management technology.

1996
